  At our Voluntary Aided, Church of England school, staff and governors aim to:-

  • provide education of the highest quality for all children, within the context of Anglican belief and practice
  • encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith
  • work with the church at both Parish and Diocesan level
  • serve the local community by being inclusive, reaching out to families of all faiths and none

The school strives to achieve the following aims at all times:


  • to ensure that the children are safe, happy, supported and well cared for
  • to create positive relationships between children, parents/carers, staff and the community
  • to establish a stimulating and supportive Christian atmosphere, enabling each child to develop their skills and knowledge at their own pace
  • to encourage the children to make a positive contribution to the community- locally, nationally and globally
  • to equip the children with the skills needed for life outside the school environment
  • to give high priority to basic skills within a rich, broad and relevant curriculum
  • to encourage parents and carers to engage with their children’s learning and progress
